Michaela Akers, an American-born painter, lived with her family in London, Paris and Rome, in her early years and was deeply influenced
by an exposure to the glories of the masters and unique experiences such as meeting Picasso. Her development as an artist,
though, took a long and circuitous route, over many years and continents before she exhibited (2001) her "Angel of the
Adoration" at the International Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Art, in Florence, Italy.

Gerardo Aristud has a Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, a Masters in Urban & Regional City
Planning from New York University and several Bachelor's degrees in Environmental & Interior Design. As an artist though,
he mixes colors of high intensities to create movement, rhythm and space.

Biagio Azzarelli was born in Lima, Peru. He spent his formative years growing up in Santiago, Chile.
He owes his artistic education and exposure to Santiago’s local artisans. His interest in sculpture dates back to his
youth where he studied under the supervision of local sculptors. Since 2005, he has concentrated his efforts in perfecting
the techniques for bronze sculptures, utilizing lost wax casting.

Miriam Besa received her Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in the Philippines in 1967. Then was chosen to study with Morris
Kantor at the Art Students League of New York from 1968 – 1970. Miriam spent several decades
in New York City exhibiting in various Madison Avenue galleries and twice at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts –

Jaymi Crook was born in South Kensington London yet was raised in the United States. Jaymi’s first
involvement in the arts began with his career as a dancer and choreographer. His time spent in the entertainment industry
gave Jaymi a special fondness and admiration for many of our culture’s most popular actors, musicians and entertainers.

Laura Davis is a photographer and aspiring photojournalist from Lakeland, Florida. Her work has appeared in Floridian newspaper,

He is a gifted surrealist painter, working in New and Mixed Media and blurring the lines between natural and alternate-dimensional.

Lauren Ditchley is a first grade art teacher and art assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her BFA from the University
of Indianapolis in 2007 with a focus on photography, ceramics and psychology. Lauren hopes her photographs inspire the viewer
to look at the mundane and find a little piece worth capturing.

Bertica Garcia Dubus was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and completed her fine art studies at Saint Dominic College in St.
Charles, Illinois. Then continuing on to the Art Institute in Chicago. She's always been most attracted to the Classical/Realistic
style of oil painting and at one time was a student of a master in Classical painting, Mariano Eckert.

DeWayne William Ekness is a student of Fine Art at Folsom Lake College in Folsom, California. A lifelong artist and musician, DeWayne does

Katherine J. Fries is a representational painter working primarily in oils. The majority of her work evolves around the figure and
includes still life and portraiture. The concepts and subject matter of her paintings include everyday and domestic scenes,
autobiographical narrative and the exploration of individuals and their unique characteristics.

Brigid Manning-Hamilton creates textile-based mixed-media artwork which is in collections from San Diego to New York City. Her work also
enhances schools and houses of worship in Indiana. She has studied at the Indianapolis Art Center, Christian Theological Seminary
and Bryn Mawr College but finds she learns best by doing. She pushes the synergy between materials and technique to give shape
to visions and feelings.

Joe Hardy was born and raised in the western United States and now lives in Colorado. He has spent his
whole life around horses, living and working on a ranch. A lifelong artist, Joe enjoys the forests and mountains of Colorado,
capturing the scenes with his camera, paints and pastels, but mostly by hand, in his charcoal drawings.

Jeannine Hennke took up art many years into adulthood. She began painting around the time of her father's death. Her art is an intuitive
skill. Painting allows her to combine the best of both worlds, isolation and social networking; she flourishes in both atmospheres.

ends. Life's changing situations affect her painting in profound ways.

Mary Koster is a graphic artist who has always had a love and passion for photography. She's had a single-lens reflex (SLR)
camera in her hands since she was a teenager and has not stopped taking photos since a very young age. Her vocation is Graphic
Design, for which she has a Bachelor's Degree, but her passion lies in photography and illustration, which she pursues in
her downtime.

Marisela Marciales is a graphics designer by trade, however, she has a major in painting. Her main focus is on the flowers in nature,
where vibrant colors attract and make rooms seem even more spectacular. In her work, every detail is magnified for the viewer,
reminding us of our inter-connectedness with the outside world.

Karen Markgraf grew up in Honeoye Falls, New York. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1983 to attend the Columbus
College of Art and Design. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987. Since then she has been creating sculptural and functional
ware predominantly utilizing the ceramic medium.

Tom Markgraf was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1982. He attended The Columbus College of Art and Design
where he received numerous scholarships, awards and graduated Cum Laude in 1986. Since then he has pursued his sculpture and
art in a mixed media format. His artwork often blends abstract and realistic elements.

Kathleen McMurray, a native of Indianapolis, has had an interest in art all of her life. Early study with local artists, Nancy Noel
and Floyd Hopper, gave way however to an interest in medicine. After practicing medicine for 10 years, she retired to devote
more time to her family. In the fall of 1999, Kathleen began painting again and has been selling her work since that time.

Carol L. Myers was originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She first went to Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing to be an RN
then followed her longtime art interest and received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Printmaking from the University of Michigan.
Her mission is to promote the arts as a life-enhancing activity in medical and educational settings by facilitating shows
and workshops.

Nikola Sanjek is a sculptor of contemporary realism and was born in Croatia
in 1979. Working as a sculptor in clay since early childhood, he showed great interest in mythology and the arts. In 2003
he graduated from Vienna’s Academy of Fine Art.

Kevin Smola graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2003 with a degree in graphic design.
Early on, Kevin had been acutely aware of abstract and drew inspirations from American & European abstract expressionists.
Kevin was awarded the 2005-2006 Stutz Artist Association’s Artist in Residence Grant.

Audrey Snead is from Oregon and has been studying art and exploring various techniques for over 20 years.
Always drawing, even at a very young age, her most admired artists are Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, both fantasy art masters.
Her medium of choice is pen and ink.

Janet Snodgrass has lived most of her life in Los Angeles, California though born in New York City. She began developing her skill
in watercolor painting after retiring from a career in graphic arts. Most of her work is figurative and plein air painting
but she also likes to experiment, create abstract and non-objective types of work.

Yvette Snow draws her work from the heart. Each of her pieces is her attempt to express raw emotion; which helps explain her
beginning down this path. Since 2007, art has been a form of therapy for her.

Ashley Stiller enjoys and photographs her Florida surroundings, the lush floral back drop is her artist's canvas. For the past
15 years she has tried her hand at every medium of art, specializing in pen and ink, pencil drawings, photography, watercolor
and acrylic paintings.

Maurice Turcotte started his artistic career in industry. Then the fine art bug propelled him towards realism and pastels. He has
truly been an evolving, lifelong artist. Raised, educated and worked in the New England states all his life, Maurice now creates
and paints what he feels, what he likes and what he experiences. He strives to impart a fresh and personal impression of his
world and times – to others.

Martha Vaught has lived in central Indiana all her life. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts
from Herron School of Art, with academic distinction, in 1988, majoring in painting and printmaking. In 1996 she went to Arrowmont
School of Art & Craft in Gatlinburg Tennessee for her post graduate painting focus.

Vicky Shaffer White has been painting for 25 years in Indianapolis, IN. She has participated
in many local and regional juried shows. Vicky recently was fortunate to place several of her paintings in the
Mayor of Indianapolis executive offices and in the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Corporate offices.

Maria Williams was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Since early in her childhood, she has been fascinated with the colors
found in nature and still most of her inspiration comes from nature. She paints floral scenes, landscapes, seascapes, still-life,
animals along with some abstracts and surrealism.
